About the artist:

Nicolie Simonson, or Nic Paper Scissors, creates bright and bold cut-paper works of art in her studio, just outside of Seattle. Working with a carefully selected and curated collection of decorative and handmade papers, she creates images inspired by nature or highlights found objects from new perspectives. For Nicolie, the puzzle of finding then perfect place for each small cut-paper piece is a strong part of her love of the medium, second only to the vibrance and beauty in a collection brightly colored papers.
